Water Training Courses Introduced by TV Schiefbahn
TV Schiefbahn Offers Swimming Courses for All Ages at Vario-Bad de Bütt
TV Schiefbahn is set to offer a range of swimming courses for babies, children, and children with disabilities at Vario-Bad de Bütt starting early August. The courses aim to create a positive relationship with water, laying the foundation for future swimming courses.
Baby Swimming Courses
The baby swimming courses, designed for infants up to about seven months, aim to stimulate motor development and increase self-confidence through the prone position. These sessions take place on Tuesdays at 9:15 AM. For the youngest, the courses support motor development by stimulating the crawling reflex. These sessions are available on Fridays at 9:30 AM and 10:15 AM.
Swimming Courses for Children
For children aged four and above, TV Schiefbahn offers swimming courses focusing on teaching water safety, basic swimming techniques, stroke development, breathing techniques, and building water confidence. The courses are structured into multiple levels—beginner, intermediate, and advanced—to accommodate varying skill levels.
Swimming Courses for Children with Disabilities
TV Schiefbahn is also offering a new "Swimming for Children with Disabilities" course, which will start at the end of August. This course is suitable for children with physical or mental disabilities and focuses on adapted swimming instruction tailored to their specific needs. Instructors with experience and training in adaptive swimming and working with children with disabilities will lead these sessions.
The Ideal Environment
Vario-Bad provides an ideal environment for these courses due to its temperature (30°C) and depth adjustability. A companion must always be in the water during the course to ensure the safety and well-being of the participants.
Registration and Contact
Registration is required in advance for all courses, and further information, schedules, and pricing can be found in the download section on the www.tv-schiefbahn.de website. For the most up-to-date and specific information, including exact schedules, prices, and enrollment procedures, it’s best to reach out directly to TV Schiefbahn or Vario-Bad de Bütt.
It's essential to note that the Seahorse badge, awarded upon completion of the "Seahorse" course, does not guarantee safe swimming, and children with the badge still need close supervision while swimming.
