Wastes Service Group Opens Advanced E-Scrap & Battery Plant in Wszemirów
Wastes Service Group, a pioneer in e-scrap and lithium-ion battery recycling, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art plant in Wszemirów, near Wrocław. The ceremony, held on September 10, 2025, drew key figures from industry, government, and academia. The plant, one of the most advanced in the CEE region, focuses on critical raw material recovery and Industry 4.0 technologies.
The plant, located at Wszemirów 115, 55-110 Prusice, boasts an advanced processing installation and a unique line for dismantling electric vehicle (EV) and plug-in hybrid chassis. It applies automated systems and Industry 4.0 solutions to ensure process safety.
Filip Gabryelewicz, the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) at Wastes Service Group, played a significant role in the plant's development. With 25 years of experience, the company offers a full value chain, including compliance services and secondary raw material supply. Gabryelewicz, involved in business development and moderating sessions on recycling regulations and technologies, expressed excitement about the plant's potential.
The Ministry of Development and Technology has pledged to support such initiatives as part of new programs for 2026-2027. The plant aims to recover critical raw materials, producing high-quality granulates from electronic fractions and used batteries. Additionally, the company plans to build an EV dismantling station in Ozimek to close the circular economy loop.
