United Cooperation among TTBOOK's Users

In a heartfelt message, Shannon, the host of "To The Best Of Our Knowledge" (TTBOOK), announced that the series is coming to an end on Sept. 27. However, TTBOOK's legacy will live on through a permanent archive of its shows and the continued work of its collaborators.

One of TTBOOK's most impactful collaborations was with the Economic Hardship Reporting Project (EHRP) on a three-part series called "Going for Broke." This Peabody award-winning series delves into the lives of Americans on the economic edge and offers insightful solutions to alleviate poverty.

"Going for Broke" covers a wide range of topics, including housing, mental health, and work, providing a comprehensive look at economic hardship in America. The series has been heartwarming to read and hear, as it resonates with TTBOOK's audience and sparks meaningful conversations about poverty.

To further engage its audience, TTBOOK hosted live events for "Going for Broke" at GBH in Boston, PRX Podcast Garage, and KQED in San Francisco. These events allowed listeners to connect with the series on a deeper level and share their thoughts and experiences.

In addition to "Going for Broke," TTBOOK also collaborated with EHRP on a series called "Docupoetry." This series showcases how writers use interviews, documents, and first-person narratives to tell the truth in an artist's voice.

TTBOOK's collaboration with EHRP doesn't end with the series. Shannon will continue as a contributing journalist for EHRP, ensuring that the spirit of TTBOOK lives on.

As TTBOOK comes to a close, Shannon expressed gratitude to the audience and signed off with "in partnership." For those who wish to share their thoughts about TTBOOK's ending, an email address has been provided at listen@our website.

TTBOOK's partnership with EHRP has resulted in stellar journalism that offers hope for society's future. Through "Going for Broke" and other collaborative efforts, TTBOOK has provided a platform for meaningful discussions about important societal topics, inspiring listeners to think critically about economic hardship and potential reforms.
