Transformation of Parks and Squares in Khabarovsk Region Accomplished through National Project

In Khabarovsk Krai, a series of improvements are being made to public spaces, with a total of 67 million rubles allocated from both federal and regional budgets. One of the most anticipated projects is the recreation zone on Krasnorechensky Lane, which is expected to be commissioned by November 1.

The total cost of the Krasnorechensky Lane project is 17.7 million rubles. The square is being transformed into a comfortable urban environment, complete with safe play areas for children and street workout equipment for older residents. All equipment for the square is being produced locally in Khabarovsk. Workers are currently installing external lighting, CCTV systems, cobblestones, swings, benches, and trash cans.

Accessibility for people with disabilities is being ensured on the Krasnorechensky Lane square. By the end of this year, the remaining 27 spaces within the "Infrastructure for Life" national project are expected to be completed, though the person responsible for this task has not been publicly specified yet.

Another significant project is the renovation of 79 territories, including embankments, squares, parks, gardens, and other recreational areas. As of today, 52 objects have been fully renovated. One such project, a new public territory, a recreation zone in the "Sudostroitel" Culture and Recreation Park in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, was opened in September.

Furthermore, a multifunctional sports facility is being built in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. On Rudneva Street, the contractor promises to open the square for local residents this year, with the current readiness of the square standing at 62%.

Maxim Ivanov, the Governor of Khabarovsk Krai, has announced a competition of the best projects for the creation of a comfortable urban environment for the regions of the Far East. The Khabarovsk region has received over 350 million rubles in 2021 for the improvement of public spaces.

As these projects move forward, the people of Khabarovsk Krai can look forward to a more vibrant and inviting urban landscape.
