The Cranger Fair's countdown is ongoing with the number 541 displayed at the Cranger entrance.
The Crangepass, a ride pass for the folk festival on the Rhine-Herne Canal, is still available and has been a popular choice among visitors, with more than two-thirds of the 15,000 printed Crangepasses already sold.
This year marks the 541st edition of the Cranger Kirmes, a festival steeped in rich cultural heritage and tradition. The number 541, displayed prominently at the festival, serves as a historical marker, symbolizing the longevity and continuity of the event.
The Crangepass can be purchased at the ticket shop of Stadtmarketing Herne, Kirchhofstr. 5, during the eleven days of the fair, while supplies last. It costs 15 euros and comes with a Crangetaler worth 20 euros. The Crangetaler can be redeemed from July 31st at 13:00 on all fair days, except for family day (August 6th).
The Crangetaler can be used to pay at approximately 50 large and small fairground, show, and amusement attractions. The back of the Crangepass also features four discount vouchers for the Filmwelt Herne, the Mondpalast in Wanne-Eickel, the family bath Wananas, and "Lago - Die Therme" in the Gysenberg park.
Please note that no cash payment is possible with the Crangetaler, and no change is given by the showmen. For more information, visit www.cranger-kirmes.de.
