The Taucha CT Lichtspiele cinema is gearing up for a major overhaul this summer, as announced by its operators. This extensive modernization aims to ensure patrons continue to savor a premium in-house cinema experience, boasting state-of-the-art image and sound quality, and modern services.
Cinema operator, Daniel Grahl, stated, "Cinema transcends mere movies. It embodies gatherings, community, and emotions for us." As part of this commitment, the venue is implementing several improvements, including a new assortment of screens.
To provide unparalleled visuals, new 4K laser projectors will be installed, offering heightened contrast and vivid colors. Moreover, the cinema will adopt high-definition 4K technology, yielding sharper image resolution. Furthermore, the new projectors promise improved efficiency and reduced maintenance needs for a seamless viewing experience.
The sound system in both halls will receive upgrades to deliver an immersive audio experience. In hall 1, a Dolby Atmos installation will be carried out, allowing dynamic, three-dimensional sound to permeate through ceiling and wall speakers. Meanwhile, hall 2 will receive speaker upgrades, while acoustic treatment — such as soundproofing and acoustic panels — will optimize audio clarity and minimize echo.
