Hex up your summer vacation by diving into the creative whirlwind that is Bottrop's summer holiday camp, "Bottroper Kids on Stage"! Mark your calendars from July 14th to August 2nd, from 10 am to 5 pm, as the Donnerberg on Bogenstraße is about to morph into a magical, movin', and action-packed extravaganza!
If you're aged six and above, buckle up for a wild ride! Each week offers a smorgasbord of workshops to choose from, such as Hip-Hop & Breakdance, Poetry Slam, Kindertanz, Magic, Capoeira, or Theater. Your fun kicks off with an opening event at 10 am, showcasing the week's activities. Then it's your call to try out the workshops, spark your creativity, and discover your passion! The workshops run Monday to Friday, 10 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm.
Lunchtime calls for a tasty meal from 12 pm to 2 pm, followed by some good old-fashioned playtime at the Spiel- und Kreativdorf (Play and Creativity Village). This haven of fun is brimming with games and creative activities, like building water constructions, sandplay, woodshop paintings, and crafting in creative tents. And just when you think it can't get any better, there's bouncy castles, obstacle courses, face painting, and thrilling games like marble runs to keep things lively! The Spiel- und Kreativdorf is open to daily visitors too, so don't miss out!
The grand finale? A jaw-dropping finale show on Saturdays at 11 am in the auditorium of the Josef-Albers-Gymnasium, hosted by the legendary Piet Metzen (BoTTcast). All children will have the chance to shine on stage, showcasing their newfound talents in theater, poetry slam, Hip-Hop & Breakdance, magic, Capoeira, or Kindertanz!
