Saaleufer hosts Hanseatic celebration

The Hallische-Hanse-Verein and Hallische Jugendhanse invite the public to the 17th Halle Hanse Festival, set to take place from May 29 to June 1, 2025, at the Saalepromenade near the Giebichenstein Bridge. This year's edition, themed "From Man's Day to Children's Day in Hanseatic Times," will extend the festival over four days for the first time.

From May 29th to June 1st, 2025, at the Saalepromenade under Burg Giebichenstein, a multitude of attractions will line the Saale river. The festival will offer a mile of entertainment, food, and drinks, raft rides, various music performances, a collection of children's activities such as carousel rides, kids' construction sites, football shooting, angling, and boules tournaments. Visitors can also find information and publications about the history of Halle (Saale) and the Hanseatic era at the red and white Hanse tent.

On Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 2 pm, Dr. Alexander Vogt, the city's mayor and the festival's patron, will visit the "Historical Salt Trade" display and greet the organizers, participants, and attendees.
