On Sunday, July 27th, the Kulturforum Regionalverband Saarbrücken is hosting a special edition of their event series "Sundays at the Castle". This event promises a diverse program for music lovers, families, and fans of open-air culture, with a lineup that caters to various tastes.

The day kicks off with a matinee performance by Sari Schorr & Band, a powerhouse blues-rock act from the United States. Sari Schorr, a multiple award winner and trained opera singer with a five-octave range, is described as one of the best contemporary blues-rock singers in the world. Her emotive performances and soulful delivery have earned her recognition, including a collaboration with Robin Trower, who has called her "dynamite".

At 11 am, Sari Schorr & Band will take the stage in the Castle Garden of Saarbrücken's BürgerSchloss, promising a high-energy start to the day.

For those seeking a more relaxed afternoon, the Soirée - Kaye-Ree Trio is the perfect choice. This Frankfurt-based act serves up Acoustic Soul with influences from Folk, Pop, R'n'B, Hip-Hop, and Funk. Their sound has been compared to a giant voice, somewhere between Sade and Erykah Badu. The Soirée - Kaye-Ree Trio will take place at 6 pm on the stage in the Castle Garden of Saarbrücken's Schloss.

In addition to these musical performances, "Kasper and the Trash Monster" is part of the event series, intended for children. This show, which takes place in the Castle Garden (free admission - in the castle cellar in case of rain), is about waste reduction and the theme "Kasper saves the world". It's an educational and entertaining option for younger visitors.

Admission to all events is free, making it an accessible and enjoyable day out for everyone. Whether you're a music fan, a family looking for a fun day out, or an environmental activist, there's something for everyone at "Sundays at the Castle" in Saarbrücken on July 27th.
