Nagaland Police Recruiting 1,176 Constables (GD) for Indigenous Tribes
Nagaland Police has opened recruitment for 1,176 Constable (GD) positions. The online application process starts on 6th October 2025 and closes on 7th November 2025. This opportunity is exclusively for candidates from the Indigenous Inhabitant Tribes of Nagaland, aged between 18 to 38 years.
Applicants must meet certain educational and physical standards. For Backward Tribes, Class-6 is required, while other Naga Tribes need Class-8. Physical requirements include minimum height, chest size, and proportionate weight. Medical fitness tests ensure no colour blindness, severe vision issues, physical deformities, or failed hearing/drug tests. The selection process involves Physical/Medical Standards Screening, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination, and Interview.
Female candidates who test positive for pregnancy will join the next training batch. The pay scale for the post is LEVEL-3 (GP-1800).
