Movie premieres, featuring "Slyue Grey"
The city of Aschaffenburg is set to host a series of Film Meetups "Smart Seniors" starting in October. Organized by the Volkshochschule (VHS) Aschaffenburg, these events are a collaboration between the city, the Volkshochschule, and Senior Circles.
The first event kicks off on Thursday, October 9th, at 2 pm, with doors opening at the same time. The venue for this inaugural event is the Haus der Begegnung in Damm, Albrechtstraße 6.
The Bavarian State Media Service provides the films for these events free of charge, ensuring an engaging and enjoyable experience for all attendees. The first film will start at 2:30 pm.
Light snacks and drinks will be available throughout the events, adding to the social and friendly atmosphere.
The Film Meetups "Smart Seniors" will take place in various districts across the city. After the initial event in Damm, additional meetups are scheduled for St. Paulus, Damm on November 12, 2025, St. Matthäus, Gailbach on November 13, 2025, and St. Kilian, Nilkheim on November 18, 2025.
A Film Meetup is also planned for January 14, 2026, at St. Paulus, Damm.
