Lisbon Welcomes Double Trouble: A Vintage Specialty Coffee Haven

Double Trouble, a new specialty coffee shop, has opened its doors in Lisbon's Campo de Ourique. Located at Rua Saraiva de Carvalho, 38 A, it's open Tuesday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and weekends, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The shop is an intimate meeting place, created by three Brazilian friends, Júlia, Thiago, and Rico, celebrating specialty coffee in a vintage atmosphere with jazz music.

The menu offers a range of drinks, from common choices like espresso (€1.20), americano (€2.50), and macchiatos (€2.30) to more unique options. The Mont Blanc (€4.20) is an Australian trend combining iced coffee and creamy custard, while the Mont Fuji (€4.80) is a matcha-inspired drink. They also serve snacks, such as the Terry Towel (€3.90), a coconut cake, and the Tamógostoso (€9), a Portuguese twist on the Japanese 'tamago sando' sandwich with chouriço. The shop caters to various dietary preferences, offering vegetarian and vegan options.

With seating for 16, Double Trouble provides a cozy space to enjoy your coffee while listening to jazz music played on a 1950s record player.

Double Trouble is more than just a coffee shop; it's an experience. With its unique drinks, snacks, and vintage atmosphere, it's a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts and locals alike. The shop's opening hours allow for plenty of opportunities to drop by and enjoy a cup of specialty coffee in a charming setting.
