New HEAGmobilo Mobility Center Opens in Car-Light Lincoln Settlement

HEAGmobilo has expanded its services in Darmstadt with the opening of a new mobility center in the Lincoln settlement. Located at Franklinstraße 40, this center serves as a third point of contact for HEAGmobilo customers, aiming to offer essential services to the car-light neighborhoods of Lincoln settlement and Ludwigshöhe quarter.

The mobility center is open on Tuesdays from 13:00 to 18:00, Thursdays from 13:00 to 18:00, and Wednesdays from 08:00 to 13:00. It does not operate on weekends or Mondays. Customers can purchase tickets, time cards, and credit for the HeinerLiner at this location, as well as receive on-site information to better inform their choices.

The new mobility center is expected to cater to up to 8,000 potential customers, offering improved access to public transportation and shared mobility services. With the intention of relieving pressure on the other two existing HEAGmobilo locations, the center also aims to reduce traffic congestion and parking demand in the area.

Arne Rath, the Managing Director of HEAG, stated that the new mobility center will provide essential services to the car-light neighborhoods. Both the Lincoln settlement and Ludwigshöhe quarter are designed to be car-light, with an approximate population of 5,000 residents in the Lincoln settlement and an additional 3,000 expected from the Ludwigshöhe quarter.

The center manages parking spaces for residents of the Lincoln settlement, enhancing pedestrian and cycling infrastructure support. The exact location of the mobility center is Franklinstraße 40 in the Lincoln settlement.
