The Great American Farmers Market is set to take place on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., from August 3 to 8, 2025. Hosted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture during National Farmers Market Week, the event is a significant tribute to American agricultural heritage and a platform to support farmers, growers, and producers across the nation.

The weeklong celebration will feature more than 50 vendors each day from 28 states, showcasing a diverse array of agricultural products including produce, meats, dairy, artisanal goods, and prepared foods. Rollins announced the event, emphasising the market's role in showcasing the rich bounty of American agriculture and the resilience and dedication of American farmers, ranchers, and producers. Secretary Rollins also highlighted that President Trump has been a strong supporter of farmers, ranchers, and producers.

In relation to the Kentucky Proud program, the event provides a national platform where Kentucky's official agricultural marketing brand can showcase the state's farm products and producers. Participation in the Great American Farmers Market allows Kentucky Proud to gain national recognition and brings attention to Kentucky’s farmers and farm families on a prominent stage in the nation’s capital.
