Installed at around forty Kaufland outlets, a new service offers open parcel stations

Kaufland, the popular German supermarket chain, is set to enhance its customer experience by expanding its provider-open, multi-carrier parcel station service. The goal is to grow from approximately 40 installed parcel locker locations to 300 by the end of 2026, making parcel handling more convenient for customers across Germany.

These parcel stations, already in operation at various Kaufland stores, are the brainchild of Austrian logistics tech company myflexbox. They allow multiple courier services such as DPD, FedEx, GLS, and UPS to deposit parcels for collection, as well as support sending and returns. This integration offers a flexible, all-in-one parcel solution that seamlessly complements the grocery shopping experience.

The locations of these parcel stations are spread across cities and towns in Germany, although specific city and town names are not yet publicly listed. The rollout is ongoing, with new stations added weekly at high-traffic Kaufland locations, ensuring wide community access.

René Wolf, Manager for Rentals and Commercial Facility Management at Kaufland, emphasised the comfort these package stations aim to provide, stating that they are intended to offer a seamless shopping experience. myflexbox, a last-mile logistics specialist that revolutionises urban logistics with intelligent and flexible solutions, is the partner behind this initiative.

The package stations are an additional service alongside existing service offerings at Kaufland branches. myflexbox's open, neutral package station network offers real added value to Kaufland customers, allowing them to run other errands and services directly on-site. The partnership between Kaufland and myflexbox aims to revolutionise daily life by merging shopping with flexible parcel handling while reducing urban delivery traffic.

As of August 11, 2025, the myflexbox package stations are now available at an additional 40 Kaufland locations. Some of the new locations include Salzstraße 16 A, 01640 Coswig, and many others. myflexbox considers Kaufland to be a perfect partner due to its strong brand and high-frequency, large locations.

This expansion is expected to continue weekly, with the number of package stations increasing steadily. By the end of 2026, Kaufland aims to have up to 300 parcel stations across Germany, offering a more convenient and efficient shopping experience for its customers.

Customers visiting Kaufland stores can now incorporate home-and-garden shopping with a lifestyle solution, as the popular supermarket chain expands its parcel station network. As part of this initiative, shopping for lifestyle items becomes more seamless, with the ability to collect and send parcel deliveries from home-and-garden providers like DPD, FedEx, GLS, and UPS.
