Stuttgart Home & Garden Fair Returns to Schloss Solitude for Fourth Year

The Stuttgart Home & Garden Fair is set to return to Schloss Solitude, a Rococo castle in Stuttgart, Germany, from Thursday, August 14th to Sunday, August 17th. This year marks the fourth consecutive year that the fair has been held at this historical venue.

Schloss Solitude, built in 1769 as a hunting lodge and summer residence, offers a picturesque backdrop for the fair. Visitors can explore the castle's 18th-century opulent halls as part of the fair experience.

The fair caters to garden and decor enthusiasts, as well as those interested in fashion, interior, accessories, and culinary delights. This year, around 100 national and international exhibitors are participating, offering a wide range of products and inspiration.

In addition to shopping, the fair offers a variety of cultural events. Performances by Circus Piglet, the marching band "Swing To Go", historical reenactments, and contemporary art are just a few of the attractions. A photo gallery is also available for additional inspiration.

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the international rallye Solitude, a historical driver's camp with over 20 classic rally cars will be set up.

The fair is open from 10 am to 6 pm on Thursday to Saturday, and from 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday. Tickets can be purchased online at a discounted rate of 11 euros, two euros cheaper than the tickets bought at the venue.

Visitors can find free lockers to store their purchases at the fair. Schloss Solitude offers beautiful parks and gardens, known as "das Grüne U", making it an ideal location for a day out. The city center, with its cultural attractions like the Schlossplatz, the New Palace, the Stiftskirche, and the Altes Schloss, is also worth a visit.

For those planning to visit Stuttgart, the city offers a rich cultural experience with its historical sites, modern architecture, and vibrant parks.
