"We're aiming to elevate Romania's dining experience and set new urban consumption standards," says Catălin Gheorghe, the founder of Tomcat Hospitality. "Marketta Food Hall will offer much more than just food – it's a vibrant, destination-worthy space that's all about diversity, exclusivity, and top-notch quality."
Taking the well-loved former Ford factory building in Floreasca, One United Properties is breathing new life into this historical gem, transforming it into the sustainable, mixed-use space called One Gallery. Marketta Food Hall is just one part of the puzzle—this swanky foodie haven will be run by Tomcat Hospitality and showcase a carefully curated mix of established local favorites and avant-garde international concepts.
Spread out over 6,000 square meters in indoor and outdoor spaces, this culinary colossus will feature restaurants, terraces seating over 2,000, co-working spaces, a speakeasy-style members bar, parking for 500 vehicles, and much more.
"One Gallery is a catalyst for transforming Bucharest into a global gastronomy and hospitality destination," adds Mihai Păduroiu, CEO of One United Properties' Office Division. "This project reaffirms our commitment to developing sustainable urban spaces that marry architectural heritage with a contemporary, vibrant city vision."
A major part of this mission is the revitalization of the Floreasca area, which will see certified office spaces, a museum showcasing the building's history, and a multifunctional hall for theater performances, events, concerts, and conferences take shape within One Gallery. The estimated development value of this visionary project is a staggering EUR 100 million.
