Five days of magical, storybook entertainment
Fair Organizer Pascal Stoltze Renews Positivity for Heddesdorf Whitsun Fair
Unpredictable weather, especially for an outdoor event like Heddesdorf's Whitsun Fair, is a tricky thing to plan for. Pascal Stoltze, the fair mastermind, can vouch for that. Despite the drizzle on the initial days, the fair managed to thrive. "The fairground was bustling with visitors every day, with Monday being particularly busy," Stoltze expressed confidently.
The satisfied responses from the showmen mirror the success of the 2022 Whitsun Fair: "Our showmen have all voiced positive sentiments – both about sales and the overall arrangement of the fair." The festive atmosphere was palpable on the fairground, and Stoltze's team noticed this too, as they regularly monitored fair-related forums.
In spaces with a multitude of people, disagreements can happen in a flash. Yet, peace and order prevailed at the Whitsun Fair: "Apart from a few minor incidents requiring intervention by authorities, the fair ran smoothly," Stoltze noted. Safety was given prime importance before the event, and security measures such as access barriers were installed at all entrances. These measures were well-received by the visitors and will likely be implemented in future city events as well.
As soon as the final screws are loosened on the fairground, Stoltze's thoughts are already drifting towards the future – next week, to be exact, as planning for the 2026 Heddesdorf Whitsun Fair begins. With the traditional fair aiming to celebrate its 150th anniversary next year, something special is expected.
