Construction materials were procured late in the game due to scheduling conflicts, pushing back the installation date until the post-holiday season of 2024. With PHP 35 million in funding - PHP 16 million for infrastructure and an additional PHP 13 million for equipment, lighting, and beautification - this baby's gonna be a sight to behold. But don't believe the rumors; despite what you might've heard, the actual budget is lower than that P44 million figure that got spilled from a 2023 internal document.
Prototype designs are nothing new in construction, Calipayan added, assuring us that it's just a part of the process to test ideas and adjust before the final implementation.
