Limited Edition Daft Punk Skateboard Hits the Market
A rare and highly collectible skateboard created by Cédric Hervet, the longtime artistic director of French electronic music duo Daft Punk, has surfaced on eBay. Number 11 in a series of 25, this unique piece of art blends fashion, art, and music history into one collectible item.
The skateboard, handmade in Normandy using premium wood and metallic detailing, was introduced by Hervet in 2017 as part of a special capsule release at Maxfield in West Hollywood. Each skateboard in the series came with original packaging, a branded crate, and a launch-edition newspaper, enhancing its collector's value.
Hervet is well-known for his creative direction with Daft Punk, having directed several of their videos and co-producing their 2003 film Interstella 5555. This skateboard is one of the rare artifacts linked to his artistic work with the duo.
