Art Safari Bucharest: A Rich and Diverse Art Event
Art Safari, Bucharest's highly anticipated art event, is set to take place from September 5 to December 14, 2025. This season-long celebration of art promises a rich mix of cross-cultural collaborations, historical retrospectives, contemporary themes, and social engagement.
One of the event's main highlights is the "Paris Pallady" exhibition, featuring over 70 works by Romanian artist Theodor Pallady, alongside pieces by Henri Matisse. This collaboration between Art Safari and Paris museums Musée de l'Orangerie and Musée Henri Matisse promises an unforgettable artistic experience.
Another noteworthy exhibition is "Enescu și Minotaurul", which explores the life and legacy of composer George Enescu, marking 70 years since his passing.
Art Safari also presents "Young Blood 5.0. Hello, Math!", an exhibition connecting contemporary art with mathematics. Additionally, visitors can look forward to "Japanese Design Today", showcasing around 100 objects of Japanese design from 2000 onward.
A temporary exhibit titled "The Art of Not Wasting Anything" will address food waste, organized by the Food Bank with support from Edenred and Lidl Romania. This exhibit is one of the offerings in Art Safari, aiming to raise awareness about the issue of food waste.
Throughout the season, Art Safari offers guided tours, workshops, and cultural activities, providing immersive artistic experiences for visitors.
