Martha Stewart Retail Stores Expand to the Middle East and South Asia

Martha Stewart's retail stores are set to make a significant mark in the Middle East and South Asia, following a strategic partnership between Marquee Brands and Apparel Group. The expansion plan, which aims to bring the Martha Stewart brand's elevated quality and design philosophy to new markets, has already resulted in the opening of three standalone stores in Dubai.

The first Martha Stewart retail store in Dubai opened its doors in May 2023 at the Mall of the Emirates. Two more stores followed at City Centre Mirdif and Dubai Hills Mall, also in May, with another planned for summer 2023. These stores offer an immersive home and lifestyle shopping experience, featuring kitchenware, dining essentials, bedding, bath, fragrance, and home décor, all curated to reflect Martha Stewart’s signature aesthetic of modern elegance.

Apparel Group, a retail conglomerate headquartered in Dubai, holds the retail license for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and is driving the regional rollout. The 2026 expansion aims to bring the Martha Stewart brand to India, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia markets, further strengthening its presence across the Middle East and South Asia.

According to CEOs from both Apparel Group and Marquee Brands, these stores serve as not only retail points but destinations for discovery and inspiration, aligned with Martha Stewart’s vision of quality living. The stores are designed to reflect Martha Stewart's style and attention to detail, providing customers with a unique shopping experience.

Marquee Brands, which manages a portfolio of recognized retailers, including BCBGMaxAzria, A Pea in the Pod, Ben Sherman, and Laura Ashley, acquired at the start of this year, is excited about the expansion. The partnership with Apparel Group is expected to lead to further growth for the Martha Stewart brand.
