Dormagen's Climate Walk: Learn & Act on September 19

Dormagen is hosting a Climate Walk on September 19, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. This event aims to educate citizens about urban planning and climate change. The walk is led by an energy advisor, starting at the Historic Town Hall at Paul-Wierich-Platz. Participants will learn about practical tips for home and garden, and how different surfaces, buildings, and streets affect temperature development and heavy rain prevention.

The Climate Walk is designed to accommodate a minimum of five participants, with a maximum of 20 citizens. While the name of the leading energy advisor is not publicly available, further information can be obtained from the city's climate adaptation manager, Janis Hackbarth, by calling 02133 257 6137. The walk will cover both urban planning measures and practical tips for home and garden, providing a well-rounded understanding of climate change and its local impact.

To join the Climate Walk, registration is required via email to umweltteam[@]stadt-dormagen.de. The event offers a unique opportunity for Dormagen citizens to learn and engage in climate change awareness and action.
