In the vibrant Eifel region of Germany, a paradise for old-school gaming enthusiasts has been thriving for a decade. The Pinball Museum, founded ten years ago by Michael Follmann and his friends, is nestled in the Wittlich industrial area and covers 300 square meters with 75 machines [1].

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, Nevada, has undergone a significant transformation. The museum, home to over 700 pinball machines, recently moved to a larger 28,000 square foot facility on South Las Vegas Boulevard [2]. This expansion aims to accommodate the museum's growing collection and cater to an ever-increasing number of visitors.

Back in Germany, hobbyist Frank Radermacher made a remarkable discovery in April. While exploring the Brohltal, he unearthed 700 historical coins from the late antiquity period [3]. This coin treasure is the largest find of Mr. Radermacher so far and was only made public on August 11th [4]. The coins have been handed over to state archaeology for examination.

In a separate incident, firefighters in Mainz's city center rescued a sparrow hawk on Thursday, August 14th. The rescue took place in the pedestrian zone of Mainz, where the firefighters received extra applause. Interestingly, the sparrow hawk was found next to a stuffed parrot in a window display of a store [6].

Lastly, an eco-friendly initiative has been introduced in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler. An e-rickshaw service is now available, offering free rides to seniors and people with disabilities [7]. A similar service is already operational in Gerolstein in the Vulkaneifel, and the response has been positive.

Despite the exciting news, no information was provided about a fire or a severely injured cat in any of the articles.
