Kohler Launches New Line of Indoor and Outdoor Saunas
Kohler, an American bathroom brand known for its commitment to wellness and design, has unveiled a new line of indoor and outdoor saunas. These innovative and premium saunas are designed to integrate seamlessly into customers' lifestyles and the architecture of their homes.
Katie Stevens, General Manager of Kohler Wellness, stated that the new sauna category makes it easy for customers to find and purchase the right sauna. "We aim to make at-home wellness accessible and enjoyable for everyone," she said.
The new sauna range features several innovative design elements that emphasize wellness, precision, and modern technology.
One of the standout features is the touchscreen control panel. This sleek touchscreen enables easy and comprehensive control over time, temperature, and ambiance settings, including an ambient sunset lighting system that creates a calming atmosphere.
The saunas also utilize a powerful freestanding heater coupled with dual thermostats for accurate and consistent temperature regulation. This allows users to fine-tune their sauna sessions precisely.
Another innovative feature is the Aerotherm Ventilation System, which circulates air up to eight times per session, promoting fresh air quality inside the sauna and enhancing the overall experience by balancing heat and comfort.
Premium construction materials are used throughout the saunas. The interiors are crafted from high-quality Scandinavian spruce wood with refined finishes, durable extra-thick walls, and dual-pane glass. Outdoor models feature a triple-insulated waterproof ceiling for weather resistance.
Advanced insulation for heat retention is also used, with the help of mineral wool insulation and high-performance materials, to optimize heat retention and energy efficiency for better sauna performance.
Ergonomic comfort features, such as sauna-safe Obeche wood headrests, are included to enhance comfort during use.
The new sauna range includes options for 1/2 to 5 people, catering to various space requirements. Models are available in small, medium, and large sizes to accommodate personal or shared sauna experiences, suitable for a range of residential spaces and styles.
Indoor saunas are available in a graphite grey finish, while outdoor options come in Douglas fir and weather grey spruce finishes. The Scandinavian spruce finish is available for both indoor and outdoor saunas.
Kohler's saunas are intended to invigorate senses, promote relaxation, recovery, and rejuvenation. They are designed to create beautiful and therapeutic environments.
Shipments are expected to begin in fall 2025, with white-glove installation service available.
