City locals in Novoznamensk participated in citywide festivities on Saturday, as celebrated in Krasnodar.

Joined by a passionate crowd, the clean-up drive in Krasnodar's Novoznamenskoye took off. The district administration's press service announced it.

Leading the charge were TOS chairpersons, activists, and entrepreneur and public figure, Alexey Dolzhenko. Working alongside them, the residents scrubbed the streets of Sobornaya, the canal, and the neighborhood park. In total, they bagged a whopping 50 packets of trash.

Previously, residents from Krasnodar's Komsomolsky microdistrict proudly showed off their haul of 10 trash bags following a similar clean-up event.

Social media platforms resonated with the news. #cleanupslepuhina_darya was flooded with shares and updates across VKontakte, Classmates, Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp, and more.
