Christmas Magic Circus Spectacle persists in Düsseldorf until January 5th
The Christmas season has been filled with joy and wonder in Düsseldorf, as the city plays host to a spectacular circus under the largest round tent in Europe. Directed by Patrick Rosseel, who previously graced the Monte Carlo Circus Festival, the Christmas circus has been receiving enthusiastic applause from audiences since its premiere on 12.12. on Staufenplatz.
The show features 13 top acts from the international circus world, each bringing their unique flair to the stage. Gael Ramirez is one such performer, showcasing his talent in the performance. The Garcia Brothers from England presented a breathtaking acrobatic act, which is a first worldwide interpretation by the next generation.
Aerial performances are a highlight of the show, with Duo Fosset and Duo Moments of Love soaring high above the audience on the aerial cradle. The glitter storm that accompanies their acts adds an extra touch of magic to the performance.
Firefighter Alex adds a touch of real-life heroism to the show, while the LS Brothers dazzle with their diabolo show. The Mauska and Engstfeld couples, as well as Nicole and Poroto, offer a variety of clowning acts that bring laughter and light-heartedness to the show.
Huan Vargas, a Hungarian juggler, captivates the audience with his mesmerising juggling acts. He trains for 4 to 6 hours daily to prepare for his performance, demonstrating the dedication and passion that goes into each act.
Viktor Gorodetsky brings humour to the show with his unicycle act, while Kaya Janecek impresses as the master of Rola Rola. Maxim and Nikolay perform hand-to-hand acrobatics, pushing the boundaries of physical strength and agility.
The Christmas market in the foyer tent adds to the festive atmosphere, with a carousel set up for children to enjoy. The live orchestra accompanying the performance had its premiere, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to the show.
The Christmas circus is playing until 5 January 2025, with special prices for family days on certain dates. Tickets can be found online.
