Celebrate the Grand Festival 2025, Smashing the RID-set world record for the Largest Candy-covered Seashore Globally
The HAPPINESS festival, held at the Hockenheimring in Hockenheim, Germany on 12th September 2025, has set a world record. The "Paradise of Happiness by schauinsland-reisen" became the world record zone, covering an area of 1,202.64 square meters.
The official inspection of this extraordinary Candy Beach was conducted by RID record judge Laura Kuchenbecker, along with festival organizers Lukas Podolski and Markus Krampe. The record is now officially a world record that will go down in history.
The world record for the largest Candy Beach was confirmed by the Record Institute for Germany (RID). The Candy Beach, a part of the Paradise of Happiness by schauinsland-reisen, was the sweetest highlight of the festival.
Decorated with giant-sized sweets, lollipops, and fruit gums, the schauinsland-reisen Candy Beach was visually striking due to its vibrant colors. This record-breaking Candy Beach attracted 200,000 visitors, making it the largest festival in Germany.
The RID, which collects and verifies outstanding performances from the German-speaking region and certifies world records, confirmed the new record. Upon request, RID record judges can inspect and certify record attempts on-site and, in case of success, award record certificates to the newly crowned world record holders.
The festival featured a high-caliber lineup with international top acts from pop, electro, and hip-hop, such as Apache 207, Black Eyed Peas, Scooter, Sido, Milky Chance, Nico Santos, Paula Hartmann, Wincent Weiss, and many more. The organizers of the HAPPINESS festival emphasized that this record symbolizes the unique moments and emotions the festival offers.
