Brunswick's Revamped Dirtbike Course Offers Thrills and Comfort
The city of Brunswick has revamped and modernized the Dirt bike course in the green area south of the Lammer Grundschule. The course, a popular meeting point for bike enthusiasts, was reopened on Thursday, October 2nd by Mayor Dr. Thorsten Kornblum.
The modernization cost 90,000 euros and introduced several improvements. The course layout was altered to enhance safety and usage, featuring three main jump areas. Each area offers two jumps, either 1.80 meters or 1.10 meters high. For an added challenge, a 1.60-meter ramp precedes the larger jumps.
A 180-degree curve now leads from the jumps to a large seating area, created as part of the modernization. The starting point on the upper platform was retained to preserve the spot's character.
The overhauled Dirt bike course in Brunswick offers bike enthusiasts of all ages an exciting and safe environment to enjoy. The modernization has not only enhanced the course but also provided a comfortable seating area for spectators.
