Bavarian Untermain Hosts FATHERTIME: A Celebration of Modern Fatherhood

The Bavarian Untermain region is hosting FATHERTIME, a special event focused on modern fatherhood, from October 14 to 30. Organized by the city of Aschaffenburg, the districts of Miltenburg and Aschaffenburg, and the marriage and family counseling service in the region, this celebration of fatherhood offers a variety of activities and discussions for male caregivers with children.

FATHERTIME is designed for fathers to explore and exchange ideas about fatherhood. Activities range from outdoor adventures like hikes and farm work to practical skills like first aid courses and building workshops. There are also creative pursuits such as storybook cinema and electronics workshops. Additionally, 'Parent Talk' sessions in multiple languages encourage open dialogue about parenting.

A highlight of the event is an online lecture titled 'Fathers reinvent themselves!' with Björn Süfke, scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, at 7 pm. This lecture is a great opportunity for fathers to reflect on their roles and learn from an expert in the field.

FATHERTIME is a unique opportunity for fathers in the Bavarian Untermain region to come together, learn, and grow. With a wide range of activities and discussions, the event caters to diverse interests and needs. The event organizers, including local fathers' associations and community groups, aim to foster responsibility, closeness, and modern fatherhood.
