Baltic Sea's newest swimming pool enthralls visitors with its extravagant water slides
The coastal town of Misdroy is gearing up for an exciting addition to its tourist attractions. A new Aquapark, set to open in September, will offer a unique water experience for visitors of all ages.
The Aquapark, which is being built on the grounds of the Aqua Resort Hotel, will span over 1,000 square meters, making it the largest water park on the Baltic Sea between Swinemünde and Treptower Deep.
The Aquapark will feature five water slides with a combined length of 500 meters, providing an adrenaline-pumping experience for thrill-seekers. One of the slides is a 109-meter-long inflatable slide with daylight and multimedia effects, promising an unforgettable ride. Another slide boasts a 20 percent slope for high speed and two cone-shaped elements for an intense riding experience. The excitement doesn't end there, as one slide features a 12-meter-wide funnel and special centrifugal effects.
For those looking for a more relaxed experience, the Aquapark will offer a leisure pool made of stainless steel for environmental and energy efficiency, an indoor leisure pool with a depth of 120 centimeters, and a lazy river. There will also be three water play areas for children, including an indoor paddling pool.
The Aquapark will not only cater to water enthusiasts but also those seeking relaxation. It will feature a relaxation area with loungers inside and outside the building, as well as five saunas for a rejuvenating experience.
Visitors can also unwind at the water bars, which will be available both indoors and outdoors. The Aquapark will also include an outdoor pool for those who prefer sunbathing and swimming under the open sky.
Construction of the Aquapark began two years ago and cost over 100 million Zloty (over 23 million Euros). In addition to the water slides, the Aquapark will offer three indoor and two outdoor whirlpools, ensuring a diverse range of aquatic experiences.
The Aquapark is set to become a must-visit destination for tourists and locals alike, promising a fun-filled day of water activities and relaxation. Stay tuned for more updates as the grand opening approaches!
