Autumnal outdoor event in a bell tent for seniors on a sloping hillside
In the heart of Regensburg, the city's Senior Citizens' Council and the Regensburg County Administration joined forces to organise a special event: a Senior Citizen's Afternoon at the Autumn Fair. The event, aimed solely at the city's senior citizens, was a resounding success, attracting a high attendance.
Landrat Tanja Schweiger, Regensburg's Mayor Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer, and Klaus Steiner, the chairman of the city's Senior Citizens' Council, were in attendance to witness the festivities. The Care Support Point Plus department of the Regensburg County Administration also played a key role in the organisation of the event.
The innkeeper Alfred Glöckl generously provided food and drinks at reduced prices, making the afternoon even more enjoyable for the attendees. Landrat Tanja Schweiger expressed her gratitude towards Mr. Glöckl, as well as to all the organisers and volunteers, for their contributions to the successful execution of the event.
The Senior Citizen's Afternoon was organised with the purpose of providing support in difficult life situations. Although specific details about the activities or initiatives taken during the event were not disclosed, the attendees reported that the day was a success.
Landrat Tanja Schweiger also took the opportunity to express her appreciation for the ongoing tradition of Senior Citizen's Afternoons on the fair, which is approaching its 20th year. The success of the event was attributed to the good cooperation between the city's Senior Citizens' Council and the Regensburg County Administration.
It's clear that the Senior Citizen's Afternoon at the Autumn Fair is a cherished tradition in Regensburg, providing a valuable opportunity for senior citizens to come together and enjoy a day of camaraderie and support.
