Asphalt Roof Restoration in Hürth-Efferen
The city of Hürth is gearing up for a series of asphalt renewal works in the Efferen district and the municipality of Holle.
In the Efferen district, the renewal of asphalt surfaces on Luxemburger Straße continues. The construction work, which is expected to last from approximately June 30, 2025, 6:30 AM to approximately July 19, 2025, 7:00 PM, will include the removal of the old asphalt surface, the laying of a new one, and the subsequent marking of the roadway. During this period, Luxemburger Straße will be a one-way street in the direction of Beselerstraße. The city utilities urge all road users to comply with the indicated no-parking zones, traffic management, closures, and construction site signs.
From June 30, 2025, work will also be carried out on the Marktstraße in Holle, specifically the section between Kreisstraße K 305 and the junction "Rösselweg/Treibeweg". The work is anticipated to last for the same duration as the Efferen works.
Meanwhile, the works in the Krankenhausstraße (section "In den Höhnen" to Beselerstraße) have already been successfully completed.
Elsewhere, the measure in the Bachstraße (between Kaulardstraße and Berrenrather Straße) is expected to end on June 28, 2025. The work will be carried out between the roundabout Jägerpfad and the Beselerstraße.
The city utilities appeal for understanding from all road users during these construction periods. Compliance with the signs ensures a smooth and swift progress of the construction work.
It's important to note that during the construction work on Luxemburger Straße, a temporary one-way street regulation will be in effect. The one-way street regulation applies to the section between Luxemburger Straße/Jägerpfad and the curve area Luxemburger Straße/Beselerstraße.
The city thanks everyone for their patience and cooperation during these essential infrastructure improvements.
