A portion of the profits from the Tabaluga-exclusive products goes to the Peter Maffay Foundation, which champions various children's projects.
This year, over €619,384.23 was collected for good causes during the 14-week donation period, and Netto did their part, too. Even Peter Maffay himself jumped in on the action, working as a cashier at a Munich Netto checkout on February 14th, encouraging customers to round up their purchases.
